Who knew ferris wheels and seaside walks could instill such fear!Green-Eyed Geishahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11947626500845582990noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5129942056638738431.post-28094714833955021592008-11-08T01:32:00.000+09:002008-11-08T01:32:00.000+09:00I'm glad to hear you enjoyed your date in Yokohama...I'm glad to hear you enjoyed your date in Yokohama. I did part of the same date a number of years ago to much less success!

It was actually only our second date, and it started off well as we had bento dinner sitting on the grass as the sun set. Things went rapidly downhill from there, however...

As we wandered hand-in-hand along the seafront underneath the trees lit with fairy lights, I realized that his attention was elsewhere. It turns out he was absolutely petrified by jellyfish and was certain that the sea was full of them, so he was torturing himself looking for them. So much for the romantic stroll!

So I suggested we ride the ferris wheel. He agreed readily and off we set. As soon as we climbed aboard, however, I noticed his knuckles were turning white with the force of his grip on the edge of his seat. It turns out he was also afraid of hights. So much for the romantic view!

Needless to say I let him plan the next date.SomedaysSarahhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07485017469544064676noreply@blogger.com
