I think the epitomy of grace is kindly glossing over the sartorial disasters of others :)

Julie: I don't think I would do well stranded on a river then bike with only one shoe! Thank you for the shout out on your blog! I am actually working on a small list of non-Japanese expat blogs that I want to put up, so I hope you don't mind if I include yours.Green-Eyed Geishahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11947626500845582990noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5129942056638738431.post-45776053688462077742010-08-15T16:59:46.367+09:002010-08-15T16:59:46.367+09:00Ouch!

Oh, and one time I was on a boat on the Mekong river, and someone accidently pushed one of my shoe into the river, floating away never to be seen again. I had to bike back home with one shoe!

Oh, I just wanted to mention that I included you in my roundup of "favorite blogs about living in Asia"! :-)Julie Lavoiehttp://goeastyoungwoman.wordpress.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5129942056638738431.post-50580321609116882782010-08-13T23:14:49.294+09:002010-08-13T23:14:49.294+09:00Very, very impressive shoe destruction there; you ...Very, very impressive shoe destruction there; you ride them hard don't you!
